World PT Day 2020 was celebrated in Bangladesh under the leadership of the Bangladesch Physiotherapie-Vereinigung (BPA). There were a series of online events and publications in leading electronic and printed media. BPA published an e-poster and a printed poster regarding physiotherapists' role in post-COVID rehabilitation (http://www.bpa-bd.org/word_physiotherapy_day_2020.pdf).

BPA organisierte auch eine Sonderdiskussion über „Bongobondhus Beruf in Bangladesch und Physiotherapie“, bei der der ehrenwerte stellvertretende Sprecher des Parlaments von Bangladesch, Fazle Rabbi Mia, Abgeordneter, Staatsminister für soziale Wohlfahrt, Staatsminister für Katastrophenmanagement und -hilfe, Präsident der Bangladesh Medical Association, Gesetzgeber und Politiker forderten die Regierung auf, die Physiotherapie zu fördern und sie in allen Phasen des Gesundheitswesens zu veröffentlichen.
