Jonathon Kruger

Jonathon Kruger is chief executive officer for World Physiotherapy.

Jonathon Kruger commenced as CEO of World Physiotherapy in August 2016. Prior to this, Jonathon worked as a health service executive in Australia. In addition to his physiotherapy qualifications, he has a master’s degree in public health as well as qualifications in law and governance.


Dr.William Boissonnault

William Boissonnault is professor-emeritus at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds multiple adjunct physiotherapy faculty positions. He most recently served as executive VP of professional affairs, APTA. William has presented nationally and internationally on topics related to medical screening and direct access.

He is editor of the textbook, Primary Care for the Physical Therapist; Examination and Triage, and past co-editor of Pathology: Implications for the Physical Therapist. He has multiple journal publications related to differential diagnosis and patient direct access.


Dr. Savionne Francis

Savionne Francis is an alumni of the Immaculate Conception High School, the University of the West Indies, and Nova Southeastern University where she attained her doctorate of physical therapy in 2018.

A physiotherapist for the past 10 years, Savionne is passionate about physiotherapy and has dedicated her time and efforts to serve and promote the profession through the Jamaica Physiotherapy Association. She specialises in lymphoedema and wound management, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and aquatic therapy.

During this webinar the panelists will discuss direct access at global and national levels, including a historical perspective from the United States, clinical competencies, and advocacy work in Jamaica.
