Covid-19 pandemic is over but many are suffering from long Covid. The impact that the disease had on the quality of life of vast Indian population is not yet completely understood. There is limited evidence on the quality of life and disease severity in Indian population. Few studies have been done to assess the impact of Covid-19 and covid induced lockdown on the Psychological health of Indian population. Assessing the consequences of Covid-19 based on CT severity score (CT-SS) on Quality of life we can apply various tailored interventions for different systems post recovery to covid-19 individuals. An observational study was conducted on 75 individuals who recovered from covid 19 from various Covid Care centres & tertiary care hospitals in Navi Mumbai, India. significant correlation was observed between CT-SS and physical Functioning (PF), Role limitation due to Physical Health, Energy/Fatigue correlation statistics, Emotional well-being, Social Functioning, and general health. No correlation was observed between CT-SS & role limitation due to emotional problems & pain.
The CTSS and Health related Quality of life are correlated in post covid-19 individuals.The quality of life decreases with an increase in CT SS.
Enhancing the well-being of individuals post-Covid is crucial. Continuous medical support and tailored rehabilitation are essential until they regain their pre-Covid quality of life. Individuals must recognize and address any lingering health issues promptly post-recovery.
