The Universidad San Sebastián celebrated World PT Day 2024 by holding an academic event that brought together four distinguished physiotherapists from the city, who discussed the role of physiotherapists in the treatment and prevention of low back pain.
The event had an active in-person participation of students and professionals from the city, along with numerous attendees connected from all over Chile via Zoom and YouTube. The day concluded with an interactive discussion, where all participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share their insights.
The event was organised by the School of Physiotherapy at Universidad San Sebastián, Concepción campus, with the sponsorship of the Chilean Association of Physiotherapists, the Chilean Society of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, and IFOMPT. A certificate of attendance was provided to all participants.
Their aim was to begin fostering a culture of celebrating World PT Day as an opportunity for networking, professional development, and raising awareness of our profession within the community.
