Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, marked World PT Day 2023 with the following activities:
- public awareness regarding arthritis and the importance of physiotherapy for the same
- fitness booth to raise awareness about exercise and mobility, including challenges to participants
- group therapy stretching session
- demonstration of the use of virtual reality in rehabilitation
- distribution of leaflets to the patients, their families, and hospital staff
- recognition and appreciation to all the physiotherapists who are a part of the team to acknowledge their valuable contribution to improving their patients quality of life
