Eight-seven doctor of physical therapy students at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Central Texas held a community Movement for Health event to celebrate World Physical Therapy Day. Students designed wellness booths and disabilities awareness challenges to help foster understanding of those with special needs and to raise understanding of what physical therapy has to offer. This event also raised funds for two community agencies that promote exercise and mobility- AMBUCS and Belton Blazers- the local Special Olympics chapter.
The students have a fantastic time with this event- it has become an annual tradition!
