Portrait of Regina Leung

Regina Leung graduated with a BSc in physiotherapy from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She obtained her master’s degree in exercise and nutrition science from University of Liverpool. She is a senior physiotherapist in Kwong Wah Hospital, pilates clinician, and holds a diploma in acupuncture, and certification as a lymphoedema therapist.

She contributes to research and teaching to professionals on continence care, birthball exercise in pregnancy and labour, and lymphoedema management. She is the chairperson of the women’s health specialty group in 香港物理治療學會/Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association and convenor of expert group on continence and women’s health in physiotherapy central co-ordinating committee.


Portrait of Catherine Willis

Catherine Willis is a physiotherapist with more than 20 years' experience in women's, men's and pelvic health physiotherapy. She works at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in Queensland and teaches to undergraduate physiotherapy students at Australian Catholic University. Catherine is also a board director for the Australian Physiotherapy Association and is highly involved in advocacy for women's health, including appearances at senate enquiries into birth trauma and menopause.


Webinar description

In this webinar, speakers will discuss the use of electrotherapy in treating overactive bladder and urinary incontinence, share local experiences in managing this condition, and discuss the short-term and long-term impacts of physical birth trauma on women and their families. The session will also provide evidence-based strategies for physiotherapists to care for women post-delivery and help prevent birth trauma.
