Background: Cochrane is recognized as the gold standard for evidence production in all fields of medicine. Evidence is considered scarce in the world of rehabilitation, and this belief impact on perceptions of the value of rehabilitation at political, organizational and consumers levels. Cochrane Rehabilitation was launched in 2016 and includes all different rehabilitation professionals. It aims to improve evidence production and related knowledge translation (KT) for all rehabilitation professionals. Cochrane Rehabilitation is recognized by Cochrane as a Field, whose main task is KT, a dynamic and interactive process that includes the synthesis and dissemination of knowledge to improve health

Purpose: Cochrane Rehabilitation has recently engaged in the production of an ebook, which aims to collate information from all Cochrane Systematic Reviews (CSR) relevant to rehabilitation and to facilitate the dissemination of this evidence to all relevant stakeholders. The aim of this presentation is to describe this KT effort.

Methods: An editorial process has been set up. The ebook summaries are produced by Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) residents at the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli", Italy, revised by Cochrane Rehabilitation editors and finally approved by the members of European PRM Bodies who funded the initiative. To offer a systematic and comprehensible reading, the ebook has an index, each CSR is related to one or more indexed topics. Each CSR is presented with the original abstract and plain language summary, plus 4 different summaries - each one directed to convey evidence to four different audiences (clinicians, students, health policy makers and consumers).

Results: A first draft of the ebook containing the summaries of 27 CSR was created. The “Alpha Version” of the ebook was launched during the 25th Cochrane Colloquium and is now freely available online (https://ebook-rehabilitation.cochrane.org/). The purpose of the different summaries is to give a summary of the evidence for any particular audiences. The clinical summary is intended for all clinicians and health professionals, and highlights the main results of the CSR. The educational summary is meant for health professional students, reinforcing all basic concepts. The political summary is intended for policy decision makers and rehabilitation managers; the text is very concise and simple to understand. The consumer summary is meant for patients and caregivers and is written in simple lay language to explain to patients their clinical condition and possible treatments.

Conclusion(s): The ebook project is an important part of the Cochrane Rehabilitation KT Strategy. This useful product will: inform all rehabilitation health professionals of existing evidence; educate students to achieve updated knowledge, learn how to select the best sources of scientific information and learn from the best available evidence; support political actions toward policy makers, consumers and other stakeholders to effectively organize service delivery, allocate resources, allow persons experiencing disability to benefit from the best available rehabilitation interventions; identify unmet needs of evidence synthesis and prioritize Cochrane's future work.

Implications: This is a user-friendly tool that will help all audiences from different background to find clear, specific and free evidence based information on the different rehabilitation topics.
