The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) has opened a new national headquarters on the anniversary of its founding in 1921.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the headquarters took place on Friday 15 January 2021.
At the ceremony, Justin Moore, APTA chief executive officer, said: “This is a significant milestone and a proud moment for our association. It is the realisation of a dream and potential.”

Founded in 1921, the APTA was one of the 11 national physiotherapy associations to found the World Confederation for Physical Therapy, now know as World Physiotherapy.
