WCPT’s Executive Board has approved four physical therapy associations as provisional member organisations. These associations will be recommended for admission to full membership at the next General Meeting, which is due to take place in Geneva, 7-9 May 2019.
- Bhutan Society of Physiotherapy
- Physical Therapy Commission of the Therapist Guild of Costa Rica
- Association des Kinesitherapeutes de Madagascar
- Papua New Guinea Physiotherapy Association
The admission of these four associations would bring the total number of WCPT member organisations to 122, representing more than 450,000 physical therapists across the world.
The WCPT member organisation in Montenegro will change with effect from 1 January 2019 to Chamber of Physiotherapists of Montenegro (Komora fizioterapeuta Crne Gore) from Physiotherapists' Association of Montenegro (Udruženje Fizioterapeuta Crne Gore).
