The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

World Physiotherapy endorses the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and encourages its member organisations to promote its implementation and monitoring.  The Convention promotes, protects and ensures the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by all persons with disabilities and promotes respect for their inherent dignity.
