World Physical Therapy Day was celebrated for the first time with displays in the public space of the Universidad de Chile, where students and teachers of the Department of Physical Therapy also took part. The official WCPT toolkit was promoted in the Department of Physical Therapy's social media and with key stakeholders of public policy. Taking part in the day organised by the World Confederation for Physical Therapy is part of the department's mission as a Public University.

RIG TMO CHILE, a member of IFOMPT, celebrated World Physical Therapy Day with a clinical meeting regarding chronic pain. The topics discussed were "Update on Kinesic Treatment in People with Persistent Pain" (Gustavo Torres, PT), "Expectations : relevant cognitive factor in the therapeutic process" (Alejandra Rodriguez, psychologist) and "Coping strategies: From science to clinical practice" (Esteban Ortiz, PT).
