Headshot of Marco Pang

Marco Pang is a chair professor of neurorehabilitation at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

He is a member of 香港物理治療學會/Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association and was president of the association, 2017-2023. He is the chair of World Physiotherapy Asia Western Pacific region executive committee. 

A physiotherapist by training, Marco’s research focuses on geriatric and neurological rehabilitation. He has published more than 140 peer-reviewed papers on rehabilitation research. A popular speaker, Marco has delivered about 150 invited lectures/seminars/workshops in different parts of the world.  


Headshot of Tomonori Ito

Tomonori Ito is a Tokyo-based physiotherapist, and a member of 公益社団法人日本理学療法士協会/Japanese Physical Therapy Association.

He is from Kochi prefecture and has clinical experience in Ehime prefecture in the Shikoku region. In his early career, he worked collaboratively within multinational teams as an instructor at Gondar University in Ethiopia. He holds a master's in public health and health promotion from the University of Wales.  

He is interested in global health, humanitarian response, human security related to disability, CBR/CBID and partnership/collaborative work.

    Henry Guo works as a physiotherapist in private practice in Hong Kong, and a member of 香港物理治療學會/Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association.

    He is the co-chair of World Physiotherapy Future Network. He was the chairman of a local student physiotherapist organisation, key contact of Hong Kong, AWP regional facilitator. He is actively engaging in inter-country collaboration while building a online platform for young physiotherapists to connect with each other. 


      Headshot of Aminat Abolade

      Aminat Abolade is the co-chair of the World Physiotherapy Future Network, and a member of Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy.

      She is a final year bachelor of physiotherapy student at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria, and is working on her thesis in oncology.

      She has also served as World Physiotherapy Future Network Africa region network facilitator and organised activities to connect students with their member organisations across the Africa region. Aminat is passionate about learning and networking, and is actively involved in a number of health and physiotherapy organisations.
