or a physical therapist to practice in Pakistan must fulfill following conditions. 1-Graduation from HEC recognized University or Degree Awarding Institute. 2-Active membership of PPTA. 3-Letter of good standing Moreover, the Professional council for physical therapist is constituted by government but still not functional. It will regulate the profession after being functional.

*Direct access means a person can refer themselves to a physiotherapist without referral from another health professional
What are the circumstances in which direct access is limited?
Setting (eg. outpatient, private practice, school setting, prevention and wellness, etc)
Population/health condition (eg. musculoskeletal, non-complex, etc)
Time (eg. medical referral required if treatment is needed beyond 30 or 60 days)
Training (eg. certification, academic training, or CPD to demonstrate skill necessary to treat patients without referral from a medial doctor)

1-if a person has stroke, he will be reffred by his primary physician. 2- In fracture cases, referred by orthopedic for post op Rehabilitation. 3-Patients with delayed milestone reffred to physical therapy
