The World Physiotherapy approved CPD provider programme was established to support quality assurance in continuing professional development. Through an independent peer review process, providers are assessed against internationally recognised standards covering educational quality, governance, learner support, and continuous improvement.

Approved provider status recognises organisations that consistently demonstrate high standards in the design, delivery, evaluation, and governance of continuing professional development activities.

The recognition of Physiopedia Plus follows a successful assessment against World Physiotherapy's approved CPD provider standards and is valid for a five-year period from 30 May 2026 to 30 May 2031.

Physiopedia Plus is an online learning platform that provides evidence-based educational resources and professional development opportunities for rehabilitation professionals worldwide. Its approval as a World Physiotherapy CPD provider demonstrates its commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences that support professional growth and lifelong learning.

Sidy Dieye, chief executive officer at World Physiotherapy, said:

We are delighted to recognise Physiopedia Plus as the first World Physiotherapy approved CPD provider. This achievement reflects a shared commitment to excellence in continuing professional development and to supporting physiotherapists throughout their professional careers. By recognising providers that meet internationally recognised quality standards, we are helping to strengthen trust in CPD and support the ongoing development of a workforce equipped to meet the changing needs of populations and health systems around the world."

Rachael Lowe, Physiotherapist, Co-Founder and CEO at Physiopedia Plus, said:
