World Physiotherapy and representatives from the profession attended activities during the 78th World Health Assembly, 19-27 May 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland.
This includes a World Health Professions Alliance (WHPA) side event and, as part of WHPA, the presentation of constituency statements.
The leaders of WHPA came together at the WHPA side event on 19 May 2025, to reaffirm a critical message: investing in health professionals is not a cost, but a cornerstone of resilient, high-quality healthcare systems and the path to universal health coverage.
