Governmental Organization (FMHACA): This body controls and regulates the professional practice of physiotherapists in the country. 1. Graduation Requirement: To be eligible for a license, individuals must graduate from a recognized university or institution. 2. Licensing Process: Once an individual graduate, FMHACA provides a professional license to practice as a Junior Physiotherapist. This license allows the physiotherapist to legally practice in the country. 3. License Renewal: The license must be renewed every 3 years. Renewal requirements include: 1. Work experience during the license period. 2. Earning 30 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every year from a recognized Continuing Professional Development (CPD) provider.
