The regulatory body is the DEPS: Direction of Establishments and Health Professionals. It is authorised by the ministry of health and governs practice of physiotherapy in the country. The ministry of health edited two new texts to regulate physiotherapy practice this year. The first one asks all physiotherapists to register at DEPS, in order to receive a number with a card under which each physiotherapist will practice. The second one gives authority to DEPS to set up a national council of the profession. This council will have representants from the ministry of health and the actors of the profession with one representant from our organisation.
