The Ministry of Health is the parent authority of physical therapy professional practice and service. However, for education of physical therapist, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports are responsible for. By law, a Council for Physical Therapy should have been established for overseeing and licensing of physical therapy practice in Cambodian. Unfortunately, the council has not been created.
