The 'specialist in physical rehabilitation' is partly regulated by the government at a national level. The Ministry of Social Affairs provides working places in the institutions covered by that ministry. This does not include hospitals. In hospitals physiotherapists work in position physical therapist, but is not as independent specialist, everything must be approved by the doctor physical and rehabilitation medicine. Physiotherapists also work in NGOs, rehabilitation centres, and private practice.
