The Europe region held its 14th general meeting, 23-24 May 2024, in Riga, Latvia.
Representatives of member organisations attending the meeting discussed a range of topics and issues, and the following people were elected to serve on the Europe region executive committee from 2024 until 2028:
- Carmen Suárez Serrano, member of Asociación Española de Fisioterapeutas (AEF)/Spanish Association of Physiotherapists
- Tim Németh, member of AXXON, Physical Therapy in Belgium
- Michele Cannone, member of Associazione Italiana di Fisioterapia (AIFI)/Italian Association of Physiotherapy
Carmen, Tim, and Michele join Esther-Mary D'Arcy, member of Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and chair of the Europe region, and Katri Partanen, member of Suomen Fysioterapeutit/Finnish Association of Physiotherapists.
Other business conducted at the meeting, included the presentation of the Europe region awards and the announcement of the location for the Europe region general meeting in 2026.
