World PT Day activities

Numerous physical therapy institutions and departments carried out several events around the country to celebrate World Physical Therapy Day 2020.

The Jamaica Physiotherapy Association held several activities to celebrate this year's World PT Day.

The Kenya Society of Physiotherapists organised a forum that included live demonstrations of some of the physiotherapy techniques for Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients.

The Kuwait Physical Therapy Association focused on the theme for 2020 on the vital role physiotherapy play in the recovery and rehabilitation of COVID-19.

To celebrate World PT Day 2020, the Macau Physical Therapist Association produced a short exercise promotional video to help people affected by the pandemic to reduce the risk of infection by exercising at home to boost their physical and mental health.

This year, for the first time the Macedonian Society of Physiotherapists translated this year's World PT Day materials for its members and colleagues in Macedonia.

The physiotherapy team at Columbia Asia Hospital Tebrau in Malaysia organised a fun filled day with programmes under this year's theme.

To mark World PT Day 2020 the Chamber of Physiotherapists of Montenegro translated the materials into the Montenegrin language and printed posters and distributed them in all public health institutions.

National Medical Services in Oman celebrated and raised awareness around the crucial role played by physiotherapists in rehabilitating patients especially post COVID-19.
