The law on the Regulation for Health Practitioners (Royal Degree) states that all graduates must register to be a member of the Physiotherapy Council to get a license to practice. However, there is no Physiotherapy Council in Cambodia, so Cambodian Physical Therapy Association members use their membership cards to support their practice or establish a private service if they want to independently provide service. In health, rehabilitation, and other governmental and private settings, physiotherapy can independently practice their professional skills.
