Voting delegates from 106 physical therapy associations have voted unanimously for a new Constitution for the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT).
Australian physical therapist Anne Moseley has been awarded the World Confederation for Physical Therapy’s (WCPT) highest honour for her outstanding contribution to the physical therapy profession as a clinician, teacher, and researcher.
13 physical therapy associations were admitted as member organisations to the World Confederation for Physical Therapy at its General Meeting on 8 May 2019 in Geneva.
Emma Stokes has been elected as President and Melissa Locke has been elected as Vice President of the WCPT.
The WCPT General Meeting and Congress in 2023 will be hosted by the Japanese Physical Therapy Association and take place in Tokyo, WCPT’s Executive Board has announced.
