World PT Day activities

The Chamber of Physiotherapists of Kosovo took part in World Physical Therapy Day 2019 by initiating a campaign to raise awareness about the crucial role of exercise and physical activity for chronic pain.

The Kuwait Physical Therapy Association (KPTA) celebrated World PT Day on 13th September 2019 in one of the biggest shopping malls in Kuwait.

To celebrate the 2019 World Physical Therapy Day, the Macau Physical Therapist Association (MPTA) held the public event “Let’s move to keep the brain healthy” on Sunday, 8 September 2019.

The INTI International University in Malaysia celebrated World PT Day 2019.

To mark World Physical Therapy Day, the Malta Association of Physiotherapists (MAP) organised an awareness campaign during Pride March to enhance the awareness of the physiotherapy profession and how physiotherapists can assist in managing chronic pain within the LGBTIQ community.

The Mexican Association of Physiotherapy (AMEFI) carried out several activities to celebrate World Physical Therapy Day 2019.

The Mongolian Physical Therapy Association celebrated to World PT day under the ‘chronic pain’ theme in an event aimed at the public in Central square, Sukhbaatar Square, in the capital of Mongolia. 

To mark World Physical Therapy Day 2019, The Chamber of Physiotherapists of Montenegro published a free publication titled "Physiotherapy for Chronic Back Pain".

The Namibian Society of Physiotherapy (NSP) invited everyone to join in recognising the day via a social media campaign.

The National Medical Services (NMS) in Oman carried out several activities to mark World Physical therapy Day on 8th September 2019 creating awareness amongst the public and non-medical staff of NMS.
