Asociación Argentina de Kinesiologia/Argentine Kinesiology Association has been a member of World Physiotherapy since 2011 and is part of our South America region. The origins of the association date back to 1909 when the first 12 people graduated from a physiotherapy course at the University of Buenos Aires.

What is required to practice in the country/territory?

Argentina is a federal country of 23 provinces. The National Secretary of Health grants a national licence for physiotherapists. To practice in a province, a physiotherapist must have a licence from the relevant Ministry of Health or local institution.
