There are a number of physiotherapy associations in Germany and Deutscher Verband fuer Physiotherapie/German Association for Physiotherapy is the largest. The association is a founding member and is part of our Europe region.

Physiotherapists are awarded the title physiotherapist through the relevant health authority. Those who complete the education successfully in Germany are usually awarded the title through the local health authority.
