Physiotherapists across Chile celebrated World PT Day 2019

See how World PT Day was celebrated across the country by ASCOFI, physiotherapy organisations and universities

Forty students from the Fiji National University's (FNU) College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences' (CMNHS) Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme spent a recreational day at the National Rehabilitation Medicine Hospital in Tamavua.

Numerous physical therapy institutions and departments carried out several events around the country to celebrate World Physical Therapy Day 2019. Most of the activities centred round this year’s “Chronic pain” campaign.

The Indonesian Physiotherapy Association (IPA) held several events to celebrate World Physical Therapy Day 2019, these were held across the country and by many branches of the IPA.

The head of the physiotherapy department of the Iranian Hemophilia Society marked this year's World Physical Therapy Day by doing a fellowship at the World Federation of Hemophilia in Italy.

This year over 150 sites around Ireland took part in the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists' largest World Physiotherapy Day celebration.

The Jamaica Physiotherapy Association held a Physiotherapy Week 2019 (8th - 13th September) under the theme “Chronic Pain” at the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

The Chamber of Physiotherapists of Kosovo took part in World Physical Therapy Day 2019 by initiating a campaign to raise awareness about the crucial role of exercise and physical activity for chronic pain.

The Kuwait Physical Therapy Association (KPTA) celebrated World PT Day on 13th September 2019 in one of the biggest shopping malls in Kuwait.
